What white-label ecommerce development means here
Ecommerce development covers the full store build: catalog and product data, payments, shipping logic, tax configuration, checkout, and the integrations a store depends on. You win the project and own the client; we build it under your brand and hand it over to the client’s own account or hosting on delivery. Your client never learns we were involved.
Which platform fits the client
The four platforms cover a real spectrum, from hands-off and hosted to fully owned and open. The honest guide:
|
Platform
|
Model
|
The right call when
|
|---|---|---|
| Shopify | Hosted — the platform runs hosting, security, and updates | The priority is a clean store live quickly, and the client just wants to sell. Scales to enterprise on Shopify Plus. |
| WooCommerce | Self-hosted on WordPress — full ownership of code and data | The client wants to own the store outright, with no platform fees, native to the CMS most clients already run. |
| BigCommerce | Hosted, API-first — enterprise capability without the lock-in | A growing or B2B store needs room to scale, with no transaction fees and native B2B and multi-storefront support. |
| Magento & Adobe Commerce | The heavyweight — open-source or Adobe’s enterprise platform | The store is complex, deeply customized, or enterprise B2B with the resources to run it. Most demand now is upgrading or migrating aging Magento stores. |
Tell us the client’s catalog, business model, budget, and how hands-on they want to be, and we will point you to the right platform, including migrating a store from one to another when they have outgrown where they are.
Migrations, and knowing when to move
A lot of ecommerce work is not a new store. It is moving one that is on the wrong platform.
We migrate between all four, and from platforms we do not build on, preserving product data, customers, order history, and the URL redirects that keep search rankings intact.
Just as often, the useful thing we do is tell you a client should not move: the platform they are on is fine and the money is better spent elsewhere. Either way you get a straight assessment, not a pitch for the biggest build.
The same white-label terms, whichever platform
Every store ships under your brand and is handed to the client's own account or hosting on delivery; we never contact your client.
The quote is fixed before we start, which matters in ecommerce, where scope hides in integrations and custom checkout. And we work in your tools, whether Slack, ClickUp, Asana, or Basecamp.
The platform changes; the arrangement does not.
FAQ
How do I choose the right ecommerce platform for a client?
Start with how hands-on the client wants to be. Hosted platforms like Shopify and BigCommerce trade some control for zero infrastructure work; WooCommerce and Magento trade infrastructure work for full ownership. From there it is catalog size, business model, B2B versus B2C, and budget — tell us those four things and we will recommend the platform.
Can you migrate a store between platforms?
Yes, between all four we build on and from platforms we do not, preserving product data, customers, order history, and the URL redirects that keep search rankings intact. And sometimes the right answer is not to move — if the current platform is fine, we will say so rather than sell the bigger project.
Do AI shopping tools change how a store should be built?
They raise the bar on data quality. AI assistants and shopping surfaces read structured product data — clean product schema, accurate titles and attributes, and fast pages are what get a store's products found and cited. We treat structured data and performance as standard on every store we ship, whichever platform it is on.
Stop Doing It All
NOT SURE WHICH PLATFORM YOUR CLIENT NEEDS?
Tell us about the store — what it sells, who it sells to, and how hands-on the client wants to be. We will tell you honestly which platform fits, or whether a store should move at all, and come back with a fixed quote and a timeline.
