From download to first
Step 1
Install it
Velocity IQ runs anywhere Claude reads skills.
- On Claude.ai (web or desktop): Open Settings → Capabilities → Skills, choose Upload skill, and select the unzipped Velocity IQ folder.
- In Claude Code or Cowork: Drop the unzipped folder into your skills directory, then start or restart your session. Claude detects it automatically.
Installation is one-time. Once it’s in, it stays.
Step 2
Run Phase 1 before your meeting
Start a conversation and give Claude the client’s name and website. That’s the whole input. You get a pre-call brief, a discussion questionnaire, and a findings summary. Read the brief. Bring the questionnaire into the room.
Step 3
Run Phase 2 after your meeting
Paste your call transcript. Velocity IQ reconciles it with the research and renders your deliverable — proposal, report, deck, snapshot, or sales brief. Ask for one or all of them.
Step 4
Run it as-is first
Don’t open the config files yet. Run it on a real client exactly as it comes, see what it produces, then tune it. Customizing before you’ve seen an output is guessing.
